AGO Research and ReportsOver the last three years, Alternatives to Growth Oregon has commissioned several studies concerning the costs of growth: The Cost of Growth in Oregon found that each new home in Oregon costs taxpayers approximately $33,000. Assessment of Statewide Growth Subsidies in Oregon found that statewide growth subsidies totalled $1.14 billion for the year 2000.
